B1 Preliminary (PET)

B1 Preliminary, formerly Cambridge English: Preliminary (PET), is a Cambridge English Qualification that demonstrates you have mastered the basics of English. It shows you have practical language skills for everyday situations. This exam is the next step between A2 Key and B2 First in your language learning journey. It tests all four skills and is available in digital or paper formats. The exam consists of four papers, lasts about 2 hours 20 minutes, and has a scale score range of 140–159.
